Skrewball was founded by husband and wife duo, Steve Yeng, who is a Cambodian Refugee, Polio survivor and former Restauranteur, and his wife Brittany Merrill Yeng, who has a degree in Chemistry and is a former Associate at a prestigious global law firm that specialises pharmaceutical patent litigation.
Peanut butter was a totally new and fascinating flavour for Steve, after immigrating as a refugee from Cambodia. For Steve, it was the taste of freedom. He went on to develop a best-selling peanut butter whiskey cocktail at his bar and restaurant in Ocean Beach, CA. Brittany helped turn Steve’s creation into a standalone spirit that tasted great on its own, played well in a cocktail, was made with real ingredients and a quality-first approach. The result? Skrewball: the pioneering peanut butter whiskey, and an unconventional take on the American Dream.
