Proud to be a little different

Australia’s first Ginger Beer was inspired by the heat, good times and characters of Matso’s tropical home. With the WA Kimberley heat forcing them to think a little differently about refreshment, Matso’s started out in 2000 as the most remote brewery in Australia and is now stocked at most pubs across the country.

Matso’s is one of Broome’s most famous attractions and the brewery is known for its laid-back atmosphere, food, and beer. If you pop in on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday afternoon, you’ll be treated to live music from a range touring and local artists. In 2023, Matso’s extended their good vibes and great brews to the Sunshine Coast where they opened up another brewery that is set to be a crowd pleaser for locals and tourists alike.

Vodka Lemon Lime Crush 330mL

Mango Beer Cans 330mL

• Type: Mango Beer.
• Analysis: 4.5% ABV.
• Tasting notes: Made with Aussie mangoes, this unique brew is tropical and subtly sweet, with a dry finish.
• Colour: Golden, cloudy.
• Palate: Soft, tingly mango.
• Aroma: Tropical holidays.
• Serving Suggestion: Serve iced, with a side of relaxation.
• Food Match: Pair with grilled chicken and salad.

Quick Facts

• The kanji symbol in the Matso’s logo is a well-known Japanese symbol that has several meanings: To Store – For the Matso’s team, this represents the original building “Matsumoto’s General Store” (later shortened to Matso’s Store) that is now our original brewery in Broome. To Live – In Matso’s terms, this represents the spirit of the freedom and living life to the fullest! And Raw – as in raw and natural ingredients in Matso’s flavourful drinks!
