Gage Roads Brewing Co Subheading

Inspired by the coastal Aussie lifestyle

Gage Roads Brewing Co is a proudly Australian-owned and independent brewery that came from humble beginnings on the west coast of Australia. They’re all about sun, sand and a beer in hand.

Lovingly named after the stretch of water that separates Fremantle and Rottnest Island, Gage Roads has grown exponentially since their beginnings in 2002 and continues their passion for independence, freedom and the coast today.

Over the years, they’ve worked with a heap of like-minded people and organisations that share their passion for the ocean. From the eco art on the walls of Gage Roads Freo, made from plastic remnants collected off the beaches of WA, to running a wetsuit upcycling drive to help close the loop on the estimated 380 tonnes of wetsuit waste that is sent to landfill each year.

In January 2022 they opened the doors to the Gage Roads Freo brewery – a brewpub and spiritual home, housed in a 100-year-old, redeveloped shed that overlooks Gage Roads, that same strip of water that they named their brewery after, many years ago. See you on the sand with a beer in hand!
