Forester Estate is a family owned winery situated in Yallingup, Margaret River. Established in 2001, Forester Estate is a new generation winery that strives to showcase the distinct regional characters of northern Margaret River fruit.
The winery houses the best of new technology which is coupled with proven traditional winemaking techniques to ensure the exceptional quality grown in the vineyard is preserved in the finished product.
Forester Estate Premium Cabernet Sauvignon 750mL
- Origin: Yallingup, Margaret River.
- Type: Cabernet Sauvignon
- Tasting notes: Full with a plush texture and silky tannins. There are bright fruit characters of mulberry, blackberry and cassis with damp earth and balanced cedar oak. A fragrant style of Cabernet that’s ready for enjoyment.
- Aroma: Clean and perfumed with ripe fruit characters of cassis and mulberry supported by fragrant notes of lavender and potpurri. There’s underlying gravel dust with subtle cedar oak.
- Food match: Meat dishes, saucy pastas and cheeses.
Forester Estate Lifestyle Cabernet Merlot 750mL
- Origin: Yallingup, Margaret River.
- Type: Cabernet Merlot
- Tasting notes: Plump and full with a fleshy texture and silky tannins. There are bright fruit characters of red berry, plum and cassis with bayleaf and balanced cedar oak. A subtle but complex wine that’s all about drinkability.
- Aroma: Lifted and fragrant, the wine opens with raspberry, cassis, plum and lavender with subtle gravel dust, cedar oak and bayleaf.
- Food match: Meat dishes, saucy pastas and cheeses.
Forester Estate Lifestyle Shiraz 750mL
- Origin: Yallingup, Margaret River.
- Type: Shiraz
- Tasting notes: Plump and textured with loads of silky tannin. There are ripe fruit characters of boysenberry and plum with pepper, aniseed and subtle toasty oak. A ripe and concentrated wine with plenty of fruit punch and complexity.
- Aroma: Fragrant and concentrated with a ripe core of dark fruits, a floral perfume and a smattering of white pepper. There’s balanced toasty oak in support that allows the purity of fruit to shine through.
- Food match: Traditional Australian BBQ or veal scallopini with sage.
Forester Estate Rosé 750mL
- Origin: Yallingup, Margaret River.
- Type: Rosé
- Tasting notes: Full with a soft and creamy texture. Once again there are ripe fruit characters of cranberry and red berry with flint and creamy lees which lead to a soft, supple finish.
- Aroma: Clean and fruit driven with ripe fruit characters of cranberry and strawberry. There’s subtle spice along with cream and nougat.
- Food match: A range of light dining cuisine, summer salads, delicate cheeses and cured meats.
Forester Estate Lifestyle Chardonnay 750mL
- Origin: Yallingup, Margaret River.
- Type: Chardonnay
- Tasting notes: Rich and full with a soft creamy texture. There’s more creamy lees and nutty oak with fresh fruit characters of apple, kiwifruit, honeydew melon and peach.
- Aroma: Clean with bright fruit aroma of apple, lime, kiwifruit and peach. There’s subtle creamy lees with nutty oak and a hint of fennel.
- Food match: A range of light dining cuisine, an everyday wine for all occasions.
Forester Estate Lifestyle Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 750mL
- Origin: Yallingup, Margaret River.
- Type: Semillon Sauvignon Blanc
- Tasting notes: Light with a textured mouthfeel and balanced acidity. Fresh snowpea flavours fill the palate along with lychee, nettle, gooseberry and gauva. A fresh and vibrant wine with great drinkability.
- Aroma: Fresh with pungent fruit characters of blackcurrant, snowpea, lychee, passionfruit, citrus, thyme and roasted red capsicum.
- Food match: A range of light dining cuisine, an everyday wine for all occasions.
