Based on a recipe that dates back to the 16^th century West Indies, Bumbu Original Spiced Rum has made a name for itself over many years. Produced in Barbados, the native Caribbean ingredients, mixed with carefully selected spices make for a delightfully palatable rum.

The Bumbu distillery has been active for over 120 years. The rum that comes out of this factory is aged meticulously for up to 15 years, in former bourbon barrels, which helps give Bumbu its unique and distinctive flavours. Creating the perfect craft rum is an art form that Bumbu have truly mastered.

Bumbu’s ultra-heavyweight glass bottle is a work of art on its own, adorned with a tarnished metal “X” on the front and map of the Caribbean across the back. And the best part? The old-fashioned, oversized cork means you’ll hear a festive POP each time you crack open the bottle, because every time you drink Bumbu, it should be a celebration.

Bumbu Original Spice Rum 700mL

• Origin: Barbados.
• Type: Spiced rum.
• Analysis: 40% ABV.
• Tasting notes: A caramel, vanilla and allspice dream that is perfect for anyone with a bit of a sweet tooth. Delightful for slow sipping.
• Colour: Golden.
• Palate: Cinnamon, roasted nuts and allspice.
• Aroma: Notes of sweet caramel, vanilla, and oak.
• Serving Suggestion: Serve neat or pair with ginger ale.

Bumbu Rum Crème Liqueur 700mL

• Origin: Barbados.
• Type: Crème rum.
• Analysis: 15% ABV.
• Tasting notes: A smooth and rich liqueur that has all the rich caramel, toffee notes of Bumbu, with the addition of a decadent, creamy texture. The finish is smooth and lingering, with a warm aftertaste.
• Colour: Light hazelnut.
• Palate: Soft and creamy caramel with a smooth finish.
• Aroma: Vanilla, caramel, cream.
• Serving Suggestion: Served chilled over ice.
• Food Match: Pair with dessert, like chocolate mud cake.

Bumbu Rum XO 700mL

• Origin: Panama.
• Type: Rum.
• Analysis: 40% ABV.
• Tasting notes: A smooth, rich and complex rum, aged in bourbon barrels and selectively finished in white oak sherry casks to achieve a beautifully balanced, endlessly sippable rum.
• Colour: Deep amber.
• Palate:  Orange zest, peppery spice and a hint of coffee.
• Aroma: Toffee, toasted oak, and vanilla.
• Serving Suggestion: Serve neat or over ice.
• Food Match: Pair with a cured meat charcuterie board.
