About Rosco
Meet Ross or Rosco to his mates. Rosco has owned the Bayswater Liquor Barons for almost 5 years now, and in that time has turned the store into a mecca for organic wines. Like all of our owners, Rosco has taken an interesting path to get to where he is today.
He started in music – initially as an Audio Engineer in the early ’90s, but later he moved on to giving more than a decade to MGM Distribution, where he helped to create a distribution conduit for independent musicians to succeed, including The John Butler Trio, The Waifs, Karnivool, Birds of Tokyo, The Sleepy Jackson and many more. Not a bad start. From there he did an MBA at Curtin and the rest is history.
He’s always had a great love for great wines and beers, so moving on to owning his own liquor business was just the natural flow of things.
He’s also a husband and a dad to FIVE kids. They’re grown up now, but talk about having your work cut out…
