In Barbados, where the Original Bumbu is made, rum isn’t just another spirit. It’s the original rum island, where rum was first created some 400 years ago. Bajans have spent the last few centuries perfecting the art of distilling and blending their country’s most famous export. Bumbu is hand-crafted in Barbados using the finest Caribbean and South American sugarcane from locally sustainable farms. It’s a small-batch craft rum with an authentic backstory and recipe, an incredible taste and superb value.
TASTING NOTES
A full-bodied, 15 year old craft rum with rich and complex aromas of Madagascar vanilla, soft caramel and toasted oak. On the palate, you’ll find layered notes of cinnamon, roasted nuts and allspice that are perfectly blended with a mild sweetness and a light, smooth finish.
Colour – Golden.
Aroma – Vanilla, soft caramel and toasted oak.
Palate – Cinnamon, roasted nuts, allspice, and mild sweetness.
Serving Suggestion – Enjoy it neat, or throw together rum, lime juice, ice and sugar, and you have a daiquiri. The options are endless!
